Dear Friends, I am Ernst Woutman, 44 years old and I live in Leiden in Holland
(the Netherlands. I re-started on raw food this summer, and am doing it now
+/- 80%. I indulge in bananas, apples, pears.
For sustenance I also eat lots of carrots and tomatoes, nuts and raisins (so perhaps it is even less than 80%, strictly speaking...). >From time to time I transgress into left-overs from the cooked meals of the rest of the family, like pasta, meat, or a little dairy. For me the toughest moment is when we are at the end of the meal & we (I) have to actually throw away that lovely food (yes, I am not a rabid rawfooder yet).
I do not really mind it. I was, or tried to be 100% raw some 15 years ago (Guy-Claude Burger / instinctotherapy was my inspiration) and I was not happy at the time. So this time I allow myself to go more gradually, and we'll see where it getsme. What I like is that I have lost some 12 kg's - I feel a lot lighter!
